Anna Morozova can be described as the definition of an international star, as she is an Estonian citizen born in Russia, who earned a master’s degree in comics and graphic novels from the prestigious University of Dundee in Scotland, works for the UK’s largest publisher, 2000AD, and lives in Athens, Greece. She is one of the most prominent authors of the younger generation on the British market. In 2022, she won the “Tripwire” award for the most talented comic book artist in the UK. Her first work, published in the magazine “Future Shock,” was highly praised by both critics and the audience. This brilliant debut quickly secured her status as a regular artist in two of the most prestigious magazines of this publishing house, “2000AD Prog” and “Megazine.” In addition to this publisher, she also works for the Treasury of British Comics and the publisher Glarien in the USA. She publishes comics within the series “Scary Stories,” “Tales from the Black Museum,” “Judge Anderson,” “Viva Forever,” “School of Magic,” “Footballer Rocky,” as well as the independent title “Star-Nav” with writer Alan Hebden, and the title “SMASH!”. Recently, she became the first female artist to illustrate covers for the legendary British magazine “Commando,” which publishes war stories from all eras.
